Please join us at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, 26-30 October, for what promises to be an outstanding event.
This year our program will focus on market relevance and innovation for the customer owned banking model, exploring disruption opportunities and responses. Our agenda will feature some of Australia’s leading commentators and experts, as well as new voices that will challenge and inspire delegates.
Mark Meyer, CEO of the US-based think tank Filene Research Institute, Michael McQueen, an expert on renewing market relevance, and Richard Hames, a leading corporate philosopher on strategic innovation, will share fresh ideas and insights.
Further sessions will include learnings and case studies from outside our sector, best practice examples in key business areas, new business opportunities, global and local regulatory developments, strategic collaboration and market developments.
We will open the main program with a thought-provoking plenary session on Sunday afternoon and continue our sessions through Monday & Tuesday. Several industry AGMs and specific forums (Women in Mutuals, Chair's Breakfast, Small Australian Mutuals) will also take place during the event.
Our Emerging Leader stream will run from Sunday to Wednesday and will focus on collaborative leadership and strategic planning. We encourage you to consider registering young leaders for this well regarded professional development opportunity.
Our networking events will also make the most of all that Melbourne has to offer. Our Welcome Reception (Sunday evening) and Cheese & Wine event (Monday evening) will provide opportunities to renew old acquaintances and make new contacts. On Tuesday evening, our Convention Dinner will take the form of a spectacular Masquerade Ball.
We will also be taking advantage of our Melbourne location to host a special Saturday social networking event at the MCG where delegates can take a tour and step onto the hallowed turf or relive famous sporting moments at the National Sports Museum.
Hosting an event of this quality would be impossible without the strong support of our industry partners and exhibitors. In particular we acknowledge our 2013 Platinum Sponsors - Bridges Financial Services, Cuscal, FIS Australasia and Genworth – and thank them for their support and investment in our industry.
We look forward to welcoming you to Melbourne for this exciting event!
